Free Mac OSX USB WiFi driver
Hello MAC users.
If you are like me you can't stand giving up your old PowerBook G3 (Bronze), but this is a wireless world now so here is the story of "The book is back".
Once upon a time there was a old PowerBook it was very wise, but was not able to take advantage of the new cool Internet applications. Then one day a poor Windows XP user came upon the old and wise PowerBook and not knowing any better, like most windows users, he said "I will upgrade you ". So he to consult the oracle of commerce Amazon and began searching for the mythical Mac OSX that he had heard so much about, the Great OSX was credited with so much good in the world and he knew it would be able to help the old PowerBook.Enough of the fairy tale.
So here is what happened.
1. found a copy of Mac OSX on Amazon for $60.00
2. installed it and it worked first time out.
3. then started to look for a WiFi solution, this is when it started to get costly and being a poor Windows user I began to look for a free solution.
And I did, we had a Netgear MA111 USB and I located a Mac OSX wifi compatibility list with info about my card and said to use the Dlink DWL-122 1.4.7 Drivers and guess what they worked and best thing is they were free.
And they lived happily ever after . .
